Fondazione Praexidia was established to promote awareness and recognition of the importance of strategic industrial sectors for national security, technological innovation, and Italy's long-term competitiveness — with particular focus on sectors protected under Italy's Golden Power regulatory framework.

The Foundation serves as a reference point for the protection and development of the most critical industrial value chains: from defense to aerospace, from dual-use technologies to strategic infrastructure, from energy to biotechnology.

Special attention is devoted to small and mid-cap companies (SMCs) that form the backbone of these sectors, supporting targeted initiatives to strengthen the Italy's competitiveness and safeguard its technological heritage.
