The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, opened the event for the presentation of the Interim Report of the Working Group for the Internationalisation of Enterprises in the Biotechnology Sector, with the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci. The focus of the event was on Italy’s growing role in the biotechnology sector, which is seeing increasingly fruitful collaboration between the public and private sectors. The event was moderated by Pierluigi Paracchi, Executive Committee Member of Federchimica-Assobiotec and CEO of Genenta Science (Nasdaq: GNTA). The Working Group will feature contributions from Matteo Zoppas, President of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Maria Cristina Porta, General Director of Enea Tech and Biomedical, Agostino Scornajenchi, CEO of CDP Venture.

The Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani hosted the conference “Italy – USA: International Cooperation on Emerging Biotechnologies and Life Sciences”, Rome 14th November 2023. This was the first ever high-level institutional and business meeting between Italian and US stakeholders active in biotech and life Sciences. Pierluigi Paracchi was honored to present Genenta by delivering a keynote speech after the introductions from high institutional profile figures as Anna Maria Bernini Ministry of Education University and Research, Adolfo Urso Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Orazio Schillaci Ministry of Health and the US Ambassador to Italy Jack Markell.
